6 - 12 Months Before The Wedding

*  Set the date and time of your wedding.
*  Visit and reserve your location for ceremony.
*  Plan for the Bride and Groom's parents to meet if not already
    done so.
*  Determine wedding budget.
*  Determine the size of your guest list.
*  Pick out the Bride's gown and accessories.
*  Choose your wedding party.
*  Shop for bridesmaid's attire and accessories.
*  Visit appropriate clergy members.
*  Reserve the date with your florist, photographer, videographer and
    DJ or Band.
*  Order your wedding rings.
*  Put together your bridal registry.
*  Order your wedding invitations and announcements.
 
4 - 6 Months Before The Wedding
 
*  Send out announcements.
*  Finalize guest list.
*  Plan rehearsal dinner at desired location.
*  Reserve accommodations for out of town guests close to
   ceremony locations.
*  Arrange transportation for the wedding party and suggestions for
   out of town guests.
*  Discuss food and beverage details with desired location.
*  Plan your honeymoon; be sure to include passport, flight
   reservations and hotel accommodations; shop for lingerie.
*  Shop for groom and groomsmen's attire.
*  Make sure all deposits are confirmed with venue and vendors.
 
4 - 6 Months Before The Wedding
 
*  Order the wedding cake.
*  Buy cake knife set, toasting glasses, and guest book.
*  Choose gifts for wedding party, parents, and fiance'.
*  Address invitations/announcements and mail.
*  Meet with the florist to didcuss final ideas.
*  Meet with your photographer to discuss final ideas.
*  Apply for your marriage license.
*  Confirmthat guests have made their reservations at the Hotel of
    your choice and arrange a complimentary shuttle to the Ceremony
    location.
 
4 -8 Weeks Before The Wedding
 
*  Meet with your DJ or Band and give them a final song list.
*  Schedule the plans with your hairstylist and makeup artist.
*  Write your vows and any toasts if needed.
*  Pick up wedding rings.
*  Contact guest who have yet to respond.
*  Appoint family member or friend to attain to the guest book.
 
2 - 4 Weeks Before The Wedding
 
*  Write thank you notes for all shower and wedding gifts upon arrival.
*  Send out wedding announcement to local newspapers.
*  Pick up your marriage license.
*  Have dress and formal wear fittings for bride, groom and wedding
   party.
*  Finalize seating arrangements at ceremony location for reception
   guests.
*  Confirm honeymoon reservations.
*  Pick up decorative card box.
*  Make nam,e changes to all official documents.
*  Confirm times and details with florist, photography, videography
   and DJ or band.
*  Give final guest count to the desired location (9 days prior to event)
 
1 Week Before The Wedding
 
*  Host a bridesmaid party.
*  Pick up bride's gown, bridesmaid's dresses and accessories.
*  Pack for your honeymoon.
*  Pay the final deposit to Ceremony and reception location.
 
2 - 3 Days before the Wedding
 
* Treat yourself to a day at the spa, including a manicure, pedicure
   and massage to prepare for your special day.
*  Hand out ceremony readings to those participating.
*  Prepare your travel bag for your wedding day; including, makeup,
    hair accessories, toiletries, and emergency items.
 
Day Before The Wedding
 
*  Eat breakfast
*  Drink lots of water.
*  Have hair and makeup done.
*  Arrive at ceremony location two hours prior to the ceremony.
*  Enjoy your special day!
