Just Not Right! |

Brent Brown..."aka
Silk"
I love road biking and golf during the summer months
and of course skiing in the winter. When I am not doing the above I work as an IT Director for Great West
Life in the Denver area. I was born and raised in Columbus Ohio (Go Bucks) and moved to Colorado in 2000 allowing
me to pursue my passion for skiing. I quickly fell in love with Copper and though I was a decent skier I always
struggled when it came to skiing a bump run. After a couple of seasons I was lucky enough to sign up for Bump Busters with Karpy
who helped me take my skiing to the next level. After taking Bump Busters course with Steve for the ninth or tenth
time he asked if I would be interested in joining his team. Helping to teach others how to navigate the bumps
is one of the most rewarding things I have done in life.

Emily
is a life long skier from Maine, who moved to Colorado in search of the steep and deep. As a third year instructor at Copper
Ski andRide School, and the recent recipient of Youth Programs Instructor of the Year, Emily is excited to continue her professional
development with Karpy and the Bump Busters. When not skiing the bumps, or hiking Tucker Mountain, Emily is usually
skiing tree trails in Witches' Cove with the 5-year-olds,doing yoga or watching Iron Chef on the food network. During
the summer, she heads back to New England to teach marine biology, sea kayak and eat lots of lobster.

A Great Way To Get Into Shape |
Rob...aka Slip & Slide
Hello Fellow Bumpers! My name is Rob Chuckran and I have been skiing for 35 years and teaching at
Copper for 18 of those years. Bumps are my passion. I will say that Bump Busters is the finest product offered a any ski area,
Anywhere! Who doesn't want to do bumps better - while having a great time and making new friends? It is a great way to
"push" yourself and do things you never thought you could! And you even get to make fun of Karpy! We are privileged,
here at Copper, to have a former world class Mogul skier teach us mere mortals how to rip through the bumps. Even though Karpy
is a greybread now, he still can put us to shame in the bumps. Each year, I work out harder at the gym in anticipation of
someday catching up to Karpy. And each year, sadly, Karpy reminds me that it will never happen! Oh well...When I'm not
dragging my carcas through Karpy's minefield, i.e. mogul runs off the Excelerator lift, I'm pinned to a deskin Downtown
Denver making a living recruiting engineers and geoscientists foe companies throughout the world.
This is a change for
me as I was an IT system designer/consulant for the past 20 years. But you know, I love my job because I meet people from
all over the world and I create happiness through change - which I do here at Copper Mountain as a certified ski instructor.
And when I"m not skiing, you can usually find me at some gym, ballpark or bike trail in this beautiful paradise we call
Colorado.Come visit us on Saturdays and Sundays at Copper Mountain and give Bump Busters a try, See You Soon!
